Friday 8 am – 21 hours

After sleeping on it over night you can now see serious results. Under normal circumstances you would be adding more waste (food) for these little guys.

So by now they would have reproduced themselves by several hundred thousand times.

The reality here is they are running out of food.

On the right, nothing has changed much overnight. It is clumpy and about 5 mm deep on the top.

But on the left the waste is almost fully degraded to water with only a thin dusting about 1 mm deep in the centre.

It will keep degrading as long as there is any food for them.
